I think my recent blogs about Cisco ACE have given my boss the impression that I’m a bit too "pro-Cisco", so he's asked me to draw up a proper evaluation criteria for application switches.

Everyone in the office is now getting real excited about server, network and storage consolidation: it’s all part of the whole “Green” vision that my company has embraced recently. I agree that consolidation and centralization of servers and networks can cut down on the cost of management and maintenance.

This is absolutely the coolest thing ever. We’re going to get to see our CEO’s latest televised speech, delivered directly in full high definition to all of our branch office users. Now is that cool or what?
